The Ordinary Jackpot (Original Title: 로또 1등도 출근합니다)
Synopsis
Gong Eun-tae is a mid-level sales team leader trapped in the corporate crossfire. Having been promoted faster than his workplace seniors, he endures jealous stares from beneath and relentless pressure from executives who take his self-sacrifice for granted, leaving him without even the energy to get angry.
Then one day, a lottery ticket he casually purchased on a convenience store clerk's whim comes back as a massive first-prize jackpot worth 1.3 billion KRW (approx. $1 million USD). While not nearly enough wealth to retire for life in the modern world, it is more than enough to completely alter how he looks at reality.
Instead of slamming down a resignation letter, Eun-tae chooses to show up at the office once again...

Production & Thematic Lore
The Reality of Modern Jackpots: Unlike classic stories where lottery winners quit their jobs immediately, this drama captures the hyper-realistic mindset of contemporary Korean office workers. where a lottery win does not mean early retirement, but rather serves as a financial shield that grants the courage to stand up against workplace absurdities.
* Watching this drama feels like going on a food tour...
